Reference, not a religious ruling
EAI is an evidence-retrieval and reference service. It does not issue fatwas, provide religious certification, offer religious instruction, or determine personal legal or religious obligations.
Source verification and limits
References are published only in the applicable source and rights-control states. An available citation does not mean that every narration, scholarly position or interpretation is independently settled or reproduced verbatim. Missing evidence and recognised differences of opinion are disclosed instead of filled from speculation.
Personal circumstances
Religious questions can depend on a person's circumstances and the interpretation of recognised scholarly authorities. Consult qualified asatizah or a recognised Islamic authority where an individual answer is required.
